More than words

This course helps you find ways to communicate well with people who have profound and multiple learning disabilities.

This could be people who do not use speech, pictures or any other formal way to communicate. People who might have extra problems with seeing, hearing and moving around.

The course helps you

Find ways to listen carefully to what people say  when they do not use words

Use objects of reference, touch, smell, routine, tactile signing and much more

Experience for yourself some of the communication difficulties many people experience every day

Look at the different approaches to communicating well and find out where to go to find out more.
